Former Indian Cricketer enraged by Pak-India Asia Cup schedule

Former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad expressed his displeasure with this arrangement. He endorsed a fan's post on a platform once known as Twitter, in which the fan criticized broadcasters for focusing solely on the Pakistan-India match and criticized the organizers for creating a format that has teams playing against each other multiple times in the tournament.

Venkatesh Prasad retweeted the post and expressed his hope that the match would not take place at all. He described it as "absolute shamelessness" if the reports were true and accused the organizers of making a mockery of the tournament by having different rules for the two teams.

He suggested that it would be fair if the match were abandoned on the first day and if rain were to disrupt the plans further. It's worth noting that there is a forecast for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Colombo during the Super Four stage of the tournament.

The group stage match between Pakistan and India had already been abandoned due to rain. Pakistan enters the upcoming fixture with an advantage after a convincing victory over Bangladesh in their first Super Four match in Lahore.
