Another Helicopter Crash with two officials on board

On Thursday afternoon, a police helicopter experienced a crash into Lake Balaton, near the vicinity of Balatonszéplak. Fortunately, there were no reports of significant injuries resulting from the incident, as confirmed by the National Police Headquarters' communication service, which promptly relayed this information on the police's official website.
According to the details provided by police.hu, the unfortunate event occurred during a scheduled exercise conducted by the Air Policing Service of the Standby Police.
The MD 500E helicopter, being utilized in the exercise, plunged into the waters of Lake Balaton approximately 300 meters from the lakeshore. Miraculously, the two-person crew on board was successfully rescued, thanks to the prompt response of a nearby vessel.
