NUTECH scientists and engineers have also started work on an indigenously developed 3D printer and portable x-ray machine under the COVID-19 initiative launched by the Science and Tech Ministry.
Pakistan has achieved major milestones in the fight against Coronavirus.
Recently, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) approved a ventilator designed locally by Alsons, a Karachi-based group specializing in the manufacturing of mechanical components.
In July, NRTC had started the commercial manufacturing of Pakistan’s first locally built ventilator named “SafeVent SP100.”
