A big protest held outside Indian consulate in Chicago over Occupied Kashmir lockdown

CHICAGO – People from Pakistan and other communities – waving Pakistani and Kashmiri flags – protested outside the Indian consulate in Chicago on Monday against Indian atrocities in the Occupied Kashmir.

A large number of Jewish, Christian and Sikh leaders participated in the protest held outside the Indian consulate. Indian community leaders were also present in the protest.

On the occasion, the speakers said that India has imposed curfew in occupied valley for the past one month, adding that the hospital gates are closed for the sick.

They also said that Occupied Kashmir is creating the scene of Karbala, with Indian extremist, RSS goons and terrorists – wearing army uniforms – are committing genocide in the Kashmir.

World organizations, especially the UN, the OIC, the European Union and human rights organizations are playing a role as silent spectators.
