KARACHI - A data bank of all Non Government Organizations (NGOs) is being designed to ensure their regular monitoring.
This data bank is being designed on the directives of Sindh Minister for Minorities Affairs and Social Welfare Hari Ram Kishori Lal.
The official of the department said there is no practice of monitoring NGOs working across the province which was a serious issue that needed immediate action to filter their illegal activities, anti-social practices and unauthorized foreign funding.
The official said on the directives of Minster advertisement is being published for all NGOs to fulfill the preconditions including annual audit report and work progress with 30 days to comply.
He said in case of failure, the registration of the concerned NGO would be cancelled.
