North Korea is celebrating its 70th founding anniversary today with focus on peace and economic development.
In this connection, a military parade was held in Pyongyang with a huge show of military strength.

Theme for this year's celebrations is "Unifying the Korean peninsula, divided since the 1950-53 Korean War".
