HEC to develop 20 new Universities in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will develop twenty new TIER 1 research universities under Vision 2025 to produce skilled human resource for catering to the new trends of development.
According to official sources, the special focus on research at these universities will help enhance competencies of the prevailing and emerging disciplines of specialized studies to spur rapid development in the country.
