US to send 101 Air Born division to Afghanistan against Taliban insurgency: Pentagon

KABUL: United States has decided to increase the number of special forces in Afghanistan due to the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan.
Pentagon has announced to dispatch about 1400 soldiers of 101s Airborn Division to Afghanistan.
In a statement in Washington, the US State Department said that troops are being sent in support of counterterrorism operations in Afghanistan.
