PTI Leadership gets big relief from ATC

In Peshawar, an anti-terrorism court has granted an extension to the interim bail of former PTI ministers and lawmakers on May 09 and 10 cases.

The court considered bail petitions for ex-provincial ministers and assembly members, including Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Kamran Bangash, Sher Ali Arbab, Asif Khan, and others involved in violent incidents on May 09 and 10.

The ATC has extended interim bail in case numbers 221 and 222 until October 17. Additionally, the court has instructed the accused to cooperate in the investigations related to property attacks, including Radio Pakistan and the provincial election commission's office.

The accused face charges of damaging the Radio Pakistan building, the election commission office, and other properties during these violent incidents. There are two cases registered against them at Sharqi police station and another at Khan Raziq Shaheed police station.

The court has confirmed interim bail for the case registered at Khan Raziq Shaheed police station. The ATC will further consider interim bail petitions for two cases registered at Sharqi police station on October 17.
