Major International Airlines suspend operations to Israel

Due to the unexpected Hamas attack on Israel, numerous international airlines have halted their flight services to Tel Aviv, citing safety concerns and the need for improved conditions before resuming operations.

On Sunday, major US carriers including United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and American Airlines, along with Air France, confirmed the suspension of direct flights to Tel Aviv. Amma, which had operated two scheduled flights to the United States from Israel over the weekend, has also suspended services until conditions allow for a safe resumption.

Delta representatives stated that flights for the upcoming week have been canceled while they closely monitor the situation to make necessary schedule adjustments. Hainan Airlines, the sole Chinese airline connecting China and Israel, canceled its Tel Aviv to Shanghai flights on Monday, citing security concerns in Israel.

They also operate flights between Beijing and Tel Aviv, as well as Shenzhen and Tel Aviv, and have mentioned that their future flight plans will be adapted according to the evolving situation.

Cathay Pacific also canceled its flight between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv for Tuesday and plans to provide updates regarding the next flight on Thursday. Korean Air canceled its Monday flight between Incheon and Tel Aviv, anticipating irregular flight schedules in the near future due to the circumstances.
