Finance Minister makes important statement on rescheduling of loans from Paris Club

Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar on Sunday announced that his government has decided not to go to the Paris Club for rescheduling the loans of Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar addressed a press conference on Sunday and said they are going to pay LCs up to US$50,000.

The finance minister also confirmed that his government will also redressal of complaints related to the LCs.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said State Bank has provided data regarding deferred payments so the matured bonds will be paid on time.

Ishaq Dar expressed a hope that the international institutions will also support the decisions of the sitting government of Pakistan.
