Plan evolved to address water-related issues: OIC

OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef Al Othaimeen says a five-pronged plan had been evolved for execution of organization's vision regarding the various issues and challenges related to water resources in the member states.
It will be presented to two day session of the OIC Ministerial Conference on Water in the OIC Member States due to begin in Cairo from Sunday next.
The plan is aimed at evaluating the Member States needs and capacities, identifying the pioneering schools in the area of water, executing a number of cooperative activities on building capacities and innovative technological ideas, and training programs.
