Gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decline on Thursday, aligning with the international market's downward trend. The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs2,400, settling at Rs211,800 per tola, while 10-gram gold witnessed a decrease of Rs2,058, reaching Rs181,584.
Contrastingly, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,580 per tola. The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) attributed the decline in gold prices to various factors, including the strengthening of the US dollar and the increase in interest rates.
As per the APGJSA, the future trajectory of gold prices is anticipated to be volatile in the upcoming days, with investors closely monitoring developments in the global economy.
