Chairman NAB responds over DG NAB Lahore controversial interview
ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has responded over the controversial interview of DG NAB Lahore.
Chairman on Friday took notice of Director General (DG) NAB Lahore Saleem Shahzad’s recent television interviews.
The NAB chief has sought a complete record of Shahzad’s interview from the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) "so that action could be taken in the light of the law".
The accountability watchdog respects all the honourable members of the National Assembly, Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said.
He said that the aim of summoning record of interview is to see if DG NAB made any statements against facts and in what manner it maligned the honourable lawmakers.
