Pakistan Railway Police to soon make 5000 fresh recruitment

KARACHI: Pakistan Railways Police will soonhave fresh inductions of some 5000 cops, both of officer and stafferrank, so as to handle fast emerging changing included those related toChina Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Inspector General of PR Police, Dr. Mujib ur Rehman Khanaddressing a darbar, for Karachi region PR cops here Wednesdayevening, said a summary has also been forwarded to the federalgovernment to bring salary package of PR police at par with provincialand federal police departments.
Equal attention is being paid to well equip the PR cops and theirupdated training, he said urging the police men to realize theirprofessional obligations towards the passengers in particular andpeople in general with utmost honesty.
Dr. Mujib ur Rehman Khan said there was need to raise the PRpolice image among the masses.
Officers and staffers of Karachi region apprised their chief ofthe problems faced by them which he managed to promptly address on the spot.
SSP - Railways, Karachi, Robin Yameen presented welcome addresson the occasion followed by the guard of honor by PR Police, Karachiregion.
Earlier Dr. Mujib ur Rehman also met the provincial chief secretary, Rizwan Memon and IG - Sindh, AD Khawaja and discussed matters related to railway network security and coordination betweendistrict police, local administration and PR police.
