Governor, CM Punjab visit Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore


Shahbaz Sharif stresses need to understand teachings and philosophy of Allama Iqbal.

Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana and Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif visited Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore on Thursday.

They laid a floral wreath on the great philosopher poet's grave and offered fateha.

Writing comments in the Visitors' Book, they paid rich homage to the great philosopher who presented the idea of separate homeland for Muslims in Sub-Continent.

Later, taking to newsmen, the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif stressed the need to understand the teachings and philosophy of Allama Iqbal.

He said hard work and honesty are the only way to success.

The Chief Minister also stressed the need to work hard for the progress and prosperity of the country.
