Is Pervaiz Musharraf going to lead MQM-Pakistan?

KARACHI: Strong rumours have emerged about ex President Pervaiz Musharraf taking over the leadership of the MQM-Pakistan.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan) leaders have met the former president Pervaiz Musharraf in Dubai.
MQM-Pakistan leader Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan and former president Pervaiz Musharraf met in Dubai and discussed the ongoing political scenario within the country and most specifically the situation within Karachi.
Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan also conveyed the message of MQM-Pakistan head Farooq Sattar to Pervaiz Musharraf.
Both the leaders also discussed the possible future role of the former president in Karachi’s political situation.
Sources have not ruled out the possibility of ex President Pervaiz Musharraf taking over or making a strong alliance with the the MQM-Pakistan.
