CPEC: Under Construction Projects in Gwadar

ISLAMABAD (APP): The Special Committee on the Project of China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) will visit Gwadar for physical inspection of under-construction Gwadar International Airport.

The Committee meeting will be held on November 14 and 15 at Gwadar and Turbat under the Convenership of Senator Taj Haider.
According to the agenda of Committee, the CPEC Committee will be briefed by Gwadar Port Authority including Construction of East- Bay Express, Construction of Break Waters, Dredging of Berthing Areas and Channels, Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute and necessary facilities of Fresh water Treatment.
The Committee will also be briefed by Gwadar Development Authority about China Pakistan Friendship Hospital (Up gradation of existing 50 bedded hospital), Infrastructure Development for Free Zone and EPZs by EPZA and GIEDA and committee will members will visit of Hospital.

The CPEC Committee will check construction work of Gwadar International Airport and Physical Inspection of under construction Gwadar International Airport.
Ministry of Railways will brief the committee about construction of Railways Station and Railway track at Gwadar Port.
CPEC: Gawadar-Quetta 660 km cargo service to be operationalised
A detail briefing will be given by National Highway Authority regarding short term, medium term and long term of CPEC Motorway Projects at Gwadar Port as well as along the agreed route announced by Prime Minister, said a notice of Senate Secretariat on Wednesday.
