KP govt taking solid measures to upgrade health, education sector

DIKHAN: Provincial Revenue Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said Tuesday Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government was making solid measures for up-gradation of health and education sectors to achieve socio-economic development.

During his visit to under-construction Gomal Medical College building here, the provincial minister said that priority was being accorded to all sectors especially education and health which played pivotal role in socio-economic development of the country.

He said all-out efforts would be made to finalize preparations for shifting the Gomal Medical College by August to the new building which had been equipped with all modern facilities to properly prepare talented doctors for practical field besides providing best health services to people.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI)-led KP government was diverting more financial resources to health sector than other provinces and its long-standing issues were gradually being resolved as promised made with people.

He said that Gomal Medical College would emerge as one of best and biggest medical colleges of the province, meeting all requirements.

The provincial minister hoped doctors of the Gomal Medical College would win laurels for the institutions and the country by rendering best services while in practical field.

He also appreciated the teaching staff of the college, saying it gave him a sense of pride to have talented staff like Prof Dr Akthar Munir Gandapur and his team who was dedicatedly performing their duties to prepare a talented stuff for the service of nation.

Prof Dr Akthar Munir Gandapur also briefed about the preparation for shifting the college to new building and facilities on the premises.

He informed that solid measures were taken to ensure all best facilities of the modern day in the new building.

The provincial minister also handed over an Air-conditioned coaster for transportation of students and staff of the college.

He said that PTI chief Imran Khan was sincerely struggling for achieving bright future of the country where all citizens were having access to all civic amenities of life.

He assured his full support to make tangible measure for resolving problems of the people, adding effective measures were being made for ensuring all necessities of life in the area.
