Suspect carrying hand grenade held near Hyderabad Bypass

HYDERABAD:Police arrested on Thursday suspect allegedly carrying a hand grenade from near Hyderabad Bypass.
The SHO Naseem Nagar police station Ameen Khoso said the suspect Ghulam Abbass Lund was associated with a banned nationalist outfit.
According to SHO, Lund was asked to carry the grenade to Jamshoro railway crossing as he started travel from his hometown in Johi taluka of Dadu district.
Khoso said the police charged Lund in an FIR lodged under sections of Anti Terrorism Act and Explosives Act.He was later produced before the Anti Terrorism Court which granted his 14-day physical remand. APP/AFP
