Sir Syed Express train to be inaugurated on June 30

Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad says Prime Minister is taking all out measures to tackle the economic difficulties being faced by the country.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, he said all steps are being taken to provide safe, comfortable and modern travelling facilities to the masses.

He said Pakistan Railways has overhauled thirty rusty locomotives and railways stations of Lahore cantonment, Kot Lakhpat and Raiwind are being upgraded in order to reduce burden on the Lahore Railways Station.

The Minister said he will inaugurate the Sir Syed Express on the thirtieth of this month.

He said the encroachments made on the Karachi Circular Railways will be removed at all costs.
