MQM leaders booked by police for staging sit-in outside CM House

KARACHI: MQM leaders have been booked by police for staging sit-in protest outside Chief Minister House and disturbing law and order situation during protest.
As per details, FIR has been lodged against more than 500 workers including MQM Central leaders by police over blocking roads and threating police personnel during sit-in demonstration outside CM House.
Case has been registered in the plaintiff of government while MQM senior leaders including Farooq Sattar, Aminul Haq, Arif Khan, Khushbakht Shujaat, Waseem Akhtar, Kamal Malick, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, Aslam Afridi, Shakir Ali and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui have been nominated in FIR.
Clauses related to violation of red zone, loud speaker act and creating unrest were included in case.
It is also worthy to mention here that MQM workers including senior leaders staged a protesting rally and sit-in protest outside CM House here at Sunday over the shortage of water in Karachi.
