CNIC re-verification to be completed in 6 months by NADRA

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar has emphasised NADRA officials to ensure completion of CNIC re-verification process throughout country within 6 months and he also directed NADRA Chairman to provide required system to ensure re-verification process in minimum time.
While addressing a high level meeting in Islamabad, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar made it clear that any relaxation would not be given to any NADRA personnel in this regard and negligence would not be tolerated in CNIC re-verification process.
Ch. Nisar vowed to complete re-verification process successfully saying that it is necessary to end the misconceptions regarding NADRA Dadabase. He also approved Central Database Format regarding the fugitive accused during the meeting.
He was informed during meeting that 60,678 fugitive accused record have been provided by ICT Police and ANF for central data bank while Ch. Nisar ordered LEAs to ensure the arrest of fugitive accused by NADRA Central Database.
