Army Chief lauds improved security situation, measures for better border management July 09, 2020

ISLAMABAD-Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has appreciated improved security situation and measures for better border management including the fencing.
According to ISPR, he expressed these views during his visit to Corps Headquarters in Peshawar.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa lauded the role of security forces in assisting civil administration for fight against COVID-19, particularly the effective efforts to contain the pandemic.
On the occasion, he was given a detailed briefing on prevailing security situation, progress on development works and socio economic uplift in Tribal Districts.
Earlier, on arrival at Corps Headquarters, the Army Chief was received by Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood.
