KARACHI: (APP) Eminent social worker late Abdul Sattar Edhi was not only very caring for the welfare of the needy human beings but also made arrangements for the treatment of sick animals and birds.
For the purpose, he had established an Animal House near Toll Plaza near Super Highway here.
The sick, weak and injured animals and birds were brought to the Animal House for the provision of treatment, due care as well as rehabilitation.
Often the people handed over their sick pets to the Edhi Foundation.
The volunteers of the Foundation also shift stray weak animals to this House for the provision of required medicines, care as well as the food.
