Yet another leading oil and gas exploration giant interested in making investment in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - After ExxonMobil, yet another World leading giant in hydrocarbons explorations has expressed interest in making oil and gas discoveries in Pakistan.
Sichuan Chuanzhong Gas Investment Company, a major gas sector group from China, has expressed willingness to invest in Pakistan for exploration and production of natural gas.
A delegation of the company met Federal Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan on Wednesday at the Petroleum Division.
After financing the gas exploration sectors in China and India, the company is now interested in tapping the hydrocarbon resources of Pakistan, a Petroleum Division press release said.
The minister assured the delegation that the government would provide conducive environment to foreign investors. The delegation thanked the federal minister for his cooperation.
