Supreme Court fixed date for NAB appeal against Sharif family

*ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court on Wednesday fixed the date of hearing for the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) appeal against suspension of Sharif family’s sentence in the Avenfield reference case.*

According to the details, a five-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar will hear the appeal on January 14.

The bench comprising of Justice Asif Saeed, Justice Gulzan Ahmad, Justice Masheer Alam and Justice Mazhar Alam will hear the NAB’s appeal.

The *NAB filed a petition against Islamabad High Court (IHC)* link verdict in the Avenfield case suspending sentences of Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and her husband capt (retd) Safdar, on Wednesday.

A special bench has been formed to hear the appeal of the National Accountability Bureau.
