PCB reportedly shortlists players for World Cup 2019

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly short-listed players for the upcoming World Cup scheduled from May 30 to July 14.

According to the sources, Mohammad Hafeez, Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, and Faheem Ashraf are the part of plan A for the World Cup.

Shadab Khan, Usman Shinwari, Hasan Ali, Abid Ali, Mohammad Abbas, Yasir Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Imad Wasim are also under consideration for the mega event.

Junaid Khan, Waqas Maqsood and Mir Hamza have also been included in the World Cup. On the other hand, the selection committee will observe the fitness of Hairs Sohail and Ruman Raees.

The selection committee headed by Inzamam-ul-Haq has tried to rope in the performers of domestic cricket.
