NEW DELHI - In India, nationwide strike called by Central Trade Unions against policies of Modi government entered second straight day on Wednesday.
There are reports of strike in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Kerala and Karnataka.
The protesting unions demand minimum wages for workers, universal social security cover, stoppage of disinvestment in public sector units, and enforcement of basic labor laws.
