PM and COAS to co-chair law and order meeting in Karachi

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi to preside the high level meeting of Civil and Military leadership. The meeting was Co-Chaired by PM Nawaz and COAS General Raheel Sharif in Karachi at Governor House regarding law and order situation. While addressing the meeting, PM Nawaz said that Karachi operation had started with the consensus of all political parties. PM Nawaz also ordered the security forces to arrest all the supporters of terrorist groups. The purpose of Karachi operation is to bring peace, prosperity and stability in Karachi. Governor Sindh Ishrat ul Ibad, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif and others were also present in the meeting. Both military and civil leadership has agreed to extend the powers of Rangers in Karachi.
