Bosnian Ambassador calls on COAS General Bajwa in GHQ

RAWALPINDI - Bosnian Ambassador to Pakistan Sakib Foric met on Thursday Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations statement.
According to the army’s media cell, the meeting took place at the General Headquarters.
In the meeting, the two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security, the ISPR stated in the press statement.
Earlier on August 07, Russian Deputy Minister for Defence, Colonel General Alexander V Fomin called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.
Regional security situation and matters of mutual interest, including enhancement of bilateral defence and security cooperation, were discussed.
The Russian Deputy Defence Minister expressed his appreciation for Pakistan Army’s achievements against terrorism.
He also stressed for greater cooperative and collaborative approach among the global community to defeat extremism.
