Despite use of state machinery PML-N rally failed in street power show

Despite using the state machinery and making all arrangements, PML-N rally led by Nawaz Sharif could not attract the expected crowd.
The rally along with vehicles and a container started from Punjab House, Islamabad at 11:45am. Before leaving for Lahore, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif held consultative meetings with the ministers and PML-N leaders.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar saw him off at Punjab House.
Contrary to expectations, the N-League failed to show street power which is a setback for the party leadership.
