An accountability court Friday heard the petition for stay order against the auction link of the property link owned by former prime minister Nawaz link Sharif and sought further arguments from the petitioner’s counsel on next hearing on April 28.
Petitioner Qazi Misbah Advocate adopted before the court that the process of auctioning the property link be challenged if accused Nawaz link returned to the country.
“It is better to stop the auction link for a while,” he pleaded and requested that the court issue a stay order against the auction link.
It merits a mention here that the court has ordered to auction link the properties of former prime minister Nawaz link Sharif.
However, there are petitions in the court by seven parties seeking a halt to the auction link of the property link. “The inheritance of the property link has been transferred. So, the court should reconsider its decision,” they say.
“Shamim Agricultural Farms and other properties are with the tenants. The auction link will affect the rights of the tenants of Shamim Agricultural Farm,” they add.
Accountability Court Judge Asad Ali had heard the petitions against the auction link.
