PAK Navy successfully test anti-ship missile “Zarb”



ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy has successfully test an anti-ship missile “Zarb” today (Saturday) to hit its target in sea.

 

According to Spokesperson of Pak Navy, successful test of anti-ship missile was conducted by Pak Navy today as anti-ship missile “Zarb” fired from coastal area by Pak Navy which hit its target accurately in sea.  “Zarb” missile has also been included in the fleet of Pak Navy.

 

Pak Navy Chief Admiral Zakaullah, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Operations and other high military officer were present at the occasion of test fire of “Zarb” missile.

 

On the successful launch of “Zarb” missile, Admiral Zakaullah and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff Operations praised the efforts of staff and experts in the preparation of “Zarb” anti-ship missile.

 

Speaking at the occasion, Zakaullah said that this new missile system is a part of the Navy’s efforts to increase our combat capabilities. He added that this successful test of “Zarb” missile is an important step to further strengthen our maritime boundaries.

 

On the other hand, President Mamnoon Hussain and PM Nawaz congratulated  Pak Navy for successful launching of “Zarb” missile and appreciated professional capabilities of Pak Navy.
