Federal government would have to face music if attack on constitution

KARACHI: Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani said that federal government would have to face music if attack on constitution while everyone should pledge to defend constitution in current circumstances.

As per details, Chairman Senate inaugurated two-day international Sufi Conference here at today (Saturday) in national museum, Karachi. After inauguration of international Sufi Conference, he talked to media and announced to celebrate 10th April as the Constitution Day.

Current circumstances demands everyone to reiterate to defend constitution of Pakistan while article 6 has failed to defend constitution so it should be abolished by all political parties. Raza added.

Talking about Panama Leaks, Rabbani said that when the matter would be discussed in Senate, he would comment on it.

Religious extremism has ended tolerance in society and it is not the issue of Pakistan but also other countries so if we can get rid of intolerance and other social issues then we would have to follow the education of Sufism.   Raza stated.
