KABUL – The ISIS Khurasan, has claimed responsibility for one of thecoordinated attacks in Kabul city.

The group has released a statement in Arabic language claiming that theattack on a police station in Dasht Barchi was carried out by a group ofsuicide bombers of ISIS Khurasan, Khaama Press has reported.

There are still no credible information available regarding the exactnumber of people killed or wounded in the attack.

But a security source in the area says at least six people have been killedand a number of others have sustained injuries in the attack.

The ministry of interior spokesman Najib Danish earlier had confirmed thatthe Special Forces are busy conducting clearance operations to eliminatethe assailants who have taken position in a building in the area.

The attack in Dasht Barchi was carried out minutes before a group ofinsurgents launched a similar attack in Shahr Naw area of the city.
