RIYADH – Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has been awardedKing Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence in Riyadh.

Chief of General Staff Royal Saudi Armed Forces General Abdul Rahman BinSaleh Al-Bunyan conferred the coveted award on the air chief in a grandinvestiture ceremony.

The prestigious medal has been awarded to the air chief in recognition ofsupport provided by Pakistan Air Force to Royal Saudi Air Force in variousdomains.

Earlier, the Air Chief called on the Chief of General Staff Royal SaudiArmed Forces. He reiterated to enhance the existing cooperation with SaudiArabia in the field of aviation.

Later in the day, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman called on Assistant DefenceMinister Mohammad Abdullah Al-Aysh.

They discussed matters of bilateral defence ties and mutual interest.
