SIFC Meeting: Important decisions taken with PM Kakar in chair along with COAS

Anwaarul Haq Kakar, the Caretaker Prime Minister, chaired the fifth meeting of the apex committee for the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) on Friday. This gathering included the Army chief, cabinet members, chief ministers, and both civil and military officials.
During the meeting, attendees were briefed on a plan of action aimed at removing obstacles hindering local and foreign investments in the country. They also devised a roadmap to address economic and administrative challenges and promote the nation's economic growth.
Participants were informed about a comprehensive plan to enhance regulations, and discussions covered short, medium, and long-term strategies to achieve economic development goals under the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The prime minister issued directives to intensify efforts for economic improvement and emphasized the timely enforcement of the action plan. He urged ministers to ensure its implementation, highlighting the importance of implementing these measures to facilitate the elected government in restoring the country's economy, despite the short tenure of the caretaker government
