Pakistan officially responds over death of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan condoled the death of former president of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe.
According to the press release issued by Foreign Office (FO), the government and people of Pakistan are deeply saddened on demise of Zimbabwe’s Mugabe, who played a distinguished role in the history of his country and the African continent.
“Pakistan is offering sincere condolences to the bereaved family and to the people of Zimbabwe,” it also state.
It is pertinent to mention here that the former President played an important role in strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe former president would be remembered for his passionate advocacy for a rightful role for Africa and his legacy for Zimbabwe.
