Rotation policy for PAS/PSP officers of Balochistan notified

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed Wednesday said it is fact that Establishment Division had notified Rotation Policy for PAS/PSP officers of Balochistan domiciled.
Replying a question in Senate, he informed the house that Balochistan domiciled officers, on promotion to BS-21, shall be entitled to serve outside the province provided that they have served in Balochistan for at least ten years.

In case of promotion to BS-20, the qualifying period to serve outside Balochistan is seven years service in home province, he added.
He said the aforesaid provisions of Rotation policy are only applicable to Balochistan domiciled officers to facilitate the people of the same province.
He said the policy has been formulated in the public interest and its rationale is to enable the Balochistan domiciled officers to serve in their home province so as to minimize the deficiency of PAS/PSP officers in Government of Balochistan.
The Chairman later, send the matter to the concerned standing committee.
