PBIT chief presents investment opportunities to Chinese traders, officials

LAHORE (APP): Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) CEO, Ms Amena Cheema met with leading Chinese businesspersons, government officials in Chengdu, a sister city of Lahore.
According to the Board's spokesman here Wednesday, the PBIT CEO along with minister of Industries Punjab and other officials is on a week-long trip to China.

He added that Ms Cheema visited the Chengdu Municipal Office where she delivered a presentation highlighting the numerous investment opportunities in Pakistan's largest province.
Among those in attendance was the head of the Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Mao Jie, Manager of Department of Overseas Development. Pakistan's Consul General in China, Ms. Amna Baloch was also present.
CEO Amena Cheema praised the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab in steering the economy out of crisis and bringing Pakistan and China closer than ever.
She also described the role of PBIT, reiterating the agency's commitment to facilitating trade and investment between the two countries.
