A big gain for the TTP terrorists group in Afghanistan

After taking control in Afghanistan, the Taliban benefited the most, and the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was revived.

In 2014, due to the Zarb-e-Azb operation, the TTP suffered losses, leading its militants to relocate to Afghanistan to regroup and reorganize.

In 2021, when the Taliban raised their flag over the Afghan capital, Kabul, the TTP was among the first groups to celebrate this victory, showcasing their support for the Taliban's takeover.

TTP Commander Noor Wali Mehsud pledged to work towards strengthening the Taliban government and renewed his loyalty oath to the Taliban's leader, Haibatullah Akhundzada, while also maintaining unwavering support for the Taliban.
