North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has described his talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo as productive.
North Korean state media said Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction over the talks with Pompeo in which they exchanged and understood each other's opinions.
It said the two sides agreed on holding working negotiations for second North Korean-U.S. summit as early as possible.
Meanwhile in a statement, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said Kim has invited inspectors to visit Punggye-ri nuclear test site to confirm that it has been irreversibly dismantled.
