Istanbul: Turkey's Minister of Trade, Omar Bolat, has stated that trade between Turkey and Israel has decreased by 50%, and they have also recalled their ambassadors from Israel.
According to Omar Bolat, trade between Turkey and Israel has decreased by half since the beginning of the conflict, which was lower compared to the same period last year.
Omar Bolat made these remarks during his official visit to Kuwait, expressing concern over the continuous bombing of civilians in Gaza by Israel and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the besieged areas.
He has recalled Turkey's ambassador from Israel for consultations regarding the bilateral relationship. Last month, Turkish diplomats left Israel due to security concerns following pro-Palestinian protests across the country.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry later stated that the envoys were recalled to assess the status of bilateral relations.
