After Izamam's resignation, PCB appoints new Chief Selector

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed senior member of the selection committee, Tauseef Ahmed, as the interim Chief Selector.
According to ARY News, after the resignation of Inzamam-ul-Haq from the position of Chief Selector, PCB has appointed Tauseef Ahmed as the interim Chief Selector. PCB has stated that Waqar Younis will be the interim Junior Chief Selector.
According to PCB, the members of the National Selection Committee, Wasim Haider and Waqar Younis, have been retained. PCB has assigned the responsibility of team selection for the Australia tour to Tauseef Ahmed, while Waqar Younis has been appointed as the Junior Chief Selector for team selection during the Junior National Team tours.
