NA Speaker calls for parliamentary links between countries

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says Pakistan supports parliamentary links among all the countries for progress and prosperity in the region.
Talking to British High Commissioner Thomas Drew in Islamabad on Thursday, he said parliamentarians of the two countries can benefit from each other through exchange of visits.
The Speaker said exchange of visits of parliamentary delegations will help improve legislation and working of the standing committees of parliament.
The British High Commissioner said continuity of democratic process in Pakistan will strengthen institutions.
He said the British government and parliament are ready to cooperate for capacity building of the members and staff of parliament.
