Aafia Siddiqui release: What did US tell Pakistan?

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal informed during a weekly press brief regrading Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
On Thursday, the FO asserted, since a decision has not been taken regarding her release by the United States yet, “we cannot say when she will be freed.”
United States had promised to look into request of the incumbent government about Dr Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani scientist jailed in the US.
As per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government of Pakistan has been raising the issue of Dr Aafia Siddiqui with US authorities regularly.
