16 Taliban killed in Afghanistan

KABUL: In Afghanistan, sixteen Taliban have been killed and nineteen others injured in a joint operation by Afghan and foreign forces in Dand-e-Ghori area of Baghlan province.
According to Baghlan police chief Akramuddin Sare, during the operation several villages were cleared of Taliban insurgents. He said weapons were also seized during the operation.
