Vehicular traffic between Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad suspended

ISLAMABAD - Vehicular traffic between Gilgit-Baltistan and Rawalpindi was suspended due to landsliding on Karakoram Highway at Jajal area in Kohistan on Sunday.
Workers of Frontier Works Organization have started work to restore the traffic.
Meanwhile, rain and snowfall is continuing in Pattan area of Kohistan district.
The scheduled flights from Islamabad to Gilgit also remained cancelled today due to inclement weather condition.
