President of Pakistan urges early solution of Kashmir and Palestine issue in OIC Summit

JAKARTA: President Mamnoon Hussain urged international community for an early solution of Kashmir and Palestine issue for regional peace during his speech in OIC Summit.
He claimed that Israeli forces are killing innocent Palestinians and building settlements in the West Bank which is a blatant violation of international law and UN resolution.
He claimed that Pakistan supports direct negotiations between Israel and Palestine and Israeli activities must stop until its solution.
He claimed that the root causes of Palestine and Kashmir disputes are being overlooked.
President expressed serious concerns over the violence in Palestine and Kashmir and condemned the illegal occupation by India and Israel.
The OIC summit was hosted by Indonesia at the request of Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas.
49 Muslim countries participated in the event and decided to raise voice on the issue and find a solution.
President Mamnoon Hussain represented Pakistan and made his speech in National Language Urdu.
Minister of Climate Change Zahid Hamid represented Pakistan at the ministerial preparatory meeting, which preceded the high level heads of state meeting.
